Why the YES Center?
| Benefits of Lessons at the YES Center: |
| 1) The YES Center atmosphere. During the after school hours there are always students from the Grand Ledge high school and middle schools participating in extracurricular activities put on by the YES Center. Particular favorites are pool, puzzles, video games, and after school snacks. Students of any age and parents are also welcome to watch the television or play a little pool while they wait even if the YES Center activities are after hours. |
| 2) Parents do not have to wait in a music store. The downtown location makes it easy to take care of errands before, during, or after the lesson time. There are also a number of restaurants available for dinner. Of course, the close proximity to one's house means dinner at home is not so difficult! |
| 3) Many students make it to and from their lessons without aid of parents via bicycle or walking. It is well within walking distance of the high school as well. |
| 4) You will save gas and time! Here are real dollar values for the expense of travel to the big three music stores in Lansing. Assume $4.00/gallon, 25mpg, standard traffic, $10.00/hour for your time (probably a conservative estimate), and a starting/ending location of M100/M43. |
