Q: “How does one go about eating an elephant?” A: “One bite at a time.”
If you wish to take the shortest path to the top of the mountain, it helps to hire a guide. Of course, climbing mountains still is not easy, per say. However, if you set daily goals and keep your eyes on the next ridge, you will be there before you know it. Musicianship is developed in the journey, not in the arriving. Anyone can buy a couple chord books, download some songs, learn the basic mechanics and be on their way. However, if you are interested in becoming a musician, then lessons are right for you.
